You do not need a mortgage or financial background to take our DipFA courses. Regardless of whether you have been a Banker for 18 years or an 18 year old who has recently chosen mortgage broking as a career path, when you come to our Centre you leave what you think you know at the door and allow us to guide you on how to get through this exam successfully. We will take you step by step and provide you the training you need to pass DipFA.

Over the duration of the course the tutor will support you fully taking you through all the sections of the vast ifs syllabus. When studying for the DipFA qualifications it can sometimes be difficult to get past the terminology used in the ifs manuals and understand the information they are trying to give you. On our courses we break down their terminology into simple, easy-to-understand terms, alongside real life examples from our fully qualified, industry recognized tutors. Once you understand the material you will have the knowledge and the confidence to gain your DipFA qualification.

The Diploma for Financial Advisers: The ifs School of Finance Diploma for Financial Advisers DipFA is a qualification for financial advisers who wish to enhance their prospects by demonstrating a higher level of knowledge and skills. All parts of the DipFA are accredited at Level 4 in the National Qualifications Framework, consistent with the professionalism proposals within the FSA's ongoing Retail Distribution Review.

This course: is a challenging and relevant programme of study that builds on existing adviser expertise and qualifications and reflects what advisers actually do; is accredited at Level 4 in the National Qualifications Framework and contributes to the key RDR objective to obtain higher-level qualifications; enhances knowledge in core areas such as regulation, investment principles, risk, taxation and personal financial planning; uses real-life scenarios to develop the essential skills to apply this technical knowledge in practice; is achievable within nine months assuming you have already completed a relevant benchmark Level 3 qualification.
