In this course, participants will study towards a BTEC Level 1 Award in Health and Social Care and will also have the opportunity to gain qualifications in Employability and Personal Development and Functional Skills in English, Maths and ICT. Fresh Start takes an holistic approach to learning and is ideal for building life skills, confidence and self esteem before moving on to further courses or employment. It is also available for international participants.
Participants should be aged between 16-18 years who have had limited success in the education system and need a fresh start.
