Course Description
This course is a unique and exciting programme of Art and Design activities. These are introductory sessions allowing 13 - 16 year olds to gain first-hand practical experience and an insight into the opportunities available in the field of Art and Design. This diverse programme of practical workshops and studio based activities provides a basic introduction to many specialist areas - including: Drawing and Painting; Photography; Computer Graphics; Jewellery; Textiles; Sculpture.
Course Fees
For all students Fee notes: This course is free and all teaching and materials are provided without charge.
Assessment method
No formal assessment, you may however, receive verbal feedback, guidance and advice through informal critiques.
Entry Requirements
The course is designed for individuals who are between the ages of 13 and 16 years. (You must still be at school, i.e. taking GCSEs and not younger than 13 years). No specific knowledge, skills or formal qualifications are required, simply a keen interest in being introduced to new media, techniques and ideas.
