This course encompasses the elements of civil law, criminal law and English land law. Students will learn about what is law and how does it evolve, legal system, courts and judiciary, contracts and torts, civil actions, basic components of criminal law, arrest, indictment, types of evidence, intensive discussion of hearsay evidence, land law, legal and equitable estates, co-ownership, easements, covenants and adverse possession.
