This course is ideal for participants who want to build on their basic skills and learn more about Art, Design and Media. It covers subjects which include: carrying out an art project, contributing to a team activity, designing a product, exploring 2 and 3 dimensional techniques and investigating working in art and design. On completion of course, they can progress on to BTEC Level 2 in Art and Design or other FE Level 2 courses. They will also have the opportunity to achieve a qualification in IT, Numeracy, Literacy, and Employability and Personal Development. It is also available for international participants.
Participants should have completed GCSEs at grades E-G and attended a successful interview.
