This course will develop a range of skills and knowledge of the principles of engineering and the specifics of engineering maintenance. The programme is broad in its coverage and appropriate for current or aspiring practitioners in maintenance engineering across all sectors of industry. The course has been developed by experience industry practitioners. The content of the course meets the demands of the engineering industry. It covers maintenance strategies, engineering science, analytical methods, electrical and electronic principles, fluid systems, mechatronics, instrumentation and control systems, electrical power.
Students must have a National Diploma, two A Levels or three HEFCs. Mature students without these qualifications are encouraged to apply as experience and potential are taken into account.
