This course is for students who would like a career working in music production or the creative industries. They will study the following modules: live sound, music production, advanced audio software, sound design, aural analysis, sound for moving image, producing and promoting music events, work based learning. They can progress onto the final year of the BA (Hons) degree in music at the University of Sunderland or they can apply to other universities.
Students must have a National Diploma, two A-Levels or equivalent, such as HEFC. Mature students without these qualifications are encouraged to apply as experience and potential are taken into account.
