Course Description
This programme of study equips students with the basic skills and knowledge required to progress into the forestry, tree care or conservation industry. Students find out about the nature of work, develop skills to boost themselves confidence and personal effectiveness. The programme develops practical skills in woodland/forestry environment including tool and equipment handling and maintenance, estate skills such as: ride and pathway maintenance, drainage and construction of structures such as stiles.
