This course will enable participants to gain the knowledge on forensic science and cyber crime. In a world of high-profile corporate malfeasance and increasing cyber-crime and cyber-terrorism; electronic evidence discovery is an essential part of their organisation's security plan. During the investigation of a computer security incident, an untrained network or system administrator, system analyst, or incident response team may unintentionally destroy valuable forensic evidence or miss critical clues that indicate unauthorised or criminal activity.
