This course is for you, if you are looking for the skills to enter employment in all aspects of cooking. You will learn essential skills in our training kitchensas you prepare food for our Tower Restaurant open to the public. You will learn about healty menu planning and the essential of health and safety in the workplace. As part of your course and to help prepare you for life in a real working environment, you will be required to work late service sessions in the kitchens for evening diners.
You will need English and maths skills at Entry 3, GCSE grades A-D - On application, if you do not have evidence of your English and maths levels you will be given an online assessment to assess - You will be offered an interview with the tutor to discuss the course.
