In this course, participants will learn about creating a wide variety of floral arrangements (hand tied presentations, wedding designs, funeral designs and planted designs), how to display work, floral decorating, flowers and materials, business operations and working in the industry. On completion, they can progress onto a higher level qualification or into employment.
Participants should have 4 GCSE grades A*-D, including English and a creative subject. Alternatively they may have a full Level 1 qualification at merit grade with literacy and numeracy at an appropriate level, or a full Level 1 NVQ with literacy and numeracy at an appropriate level.
