An HSE-approved, certificated 1-day course using sport specific examples and scenarios. During the day, candidates will learn about and become competent in the following aspects of first aid: managing a first aid incident; performing initial assessment of a casualty; managing an unconscious casualty; performing cardio-pulmonary resuscitation; recognising and dealing with a casualty who is choking. This course is recognised and approved by HSE, the health and safety executive. Successful completion of the course gains an emergency first aid in the workplace certificate issued by an accredited HSE company which is valid for 3 years.
