This degree programme seeks to foster exploration and innovation in professional film arts practice with the emphasis on the energisation of the individual and the utilisation of film arts media as a means of artistic self expression; the course aims to invigorate contemporary professional film production practices with a renewed artistic impetus, by encouraging the exploration of film arts debate within a variety of exciting and challenging contemporary film practice contexts; during this degree, students have the opportunity to study super16mm cinematography, multi-speed 16mm cinematography, in addition to cutting-edge high definition videography, high definition post-production (dual platform), directing for film & television, 5.1 surround sound design for film, screenwriting, and even underwater film and video.
