While primarily focused on making, fine art study equips the student with knowledge of the history and theory of art which, with their practical work, develops critical (and self-critical) understanding; through practice and experimentation, investigation and reflection, each student establishes the foundation of an independent practice.
Level 2: Directed studies; foundation of contemporary practice; supporting practice 1; an integrated practice; supporting practice 2. Level 3: self-directed practice: experimentation and investigation; supporting practice: professional, transferable and technical. Level 4: Honours degree studies; professional practice, presentation and exhibition.
