Course Description
The course is fully interdisciplinary. You have the opportunity to work through a wide range of media including painting, sculpture, printmaking, film/video, photography and computer generated imagery. Common programme in Level 1 and examine the particularities and interrelationships between ideas, issues and practical approaches. Levels 2 and 3 concentrate on developing your own individual practice and developing personal areas of creativity to a high level of attainment. Major assessment and public exhibition at Level 3. Supporting modules and visits to art fairs and major exhibitions worldwide.

Assessment method
Assessment is based primarily on studio work, although some aspects are assessed through presentations, seminar contributions and essays.
Entry Requirements
Relevant art and design qualification (Diploma in Foundation Studies, BTEC National Diploma, appropriate GCE A Levels, relevant Access course, or equivalent), plus a portfolio of your existing work. Some universities and colleges also provide 'Entry Profiles' which give applicants to higher education more detailed information on the courses they want to study, qualifications required, selection criteria, etc. There are strict deadlines for application to UCAS courses.
