Course Description
BA Fine Art encompasses a wide range of approaches to making art. Its open-ended structure recognises that definitions of art are not pre-established and that artists are constantly re-defining what art is: art practice is likely to involve the blurring of boundaries and to be porous in regard to disciplines and orthodoxies. Diverse views are encountered and contested yet the contribution made by each individual is readily noticed and valued.

Entry Requirements
For entry on to the course student will be expected to have successfully completed Foundation Studies in Art and Design and possess two A-levels and three GCSEs at grade C or above. Also welcome applicants with qualifications equivalent to these. As part of application student will also be asked to submit a portfolio of art and design work. All classes are conducted in English, so student will be required to have a fluent understanding of the language. If English is not the first language, student will be asked to provide evidence of English language ability.
