On this course participants build a financial model in Excel using the accounts of a real-life case company. Delegates are provided with a model template with key historical information embedded and assumptions outlined. Participants go on to complete a model and, because they are working with a structured template, are given clear guidance around good modelling practice. This course covers topics such as model structure, error checking, dealing with and living with circular references, as well as excel shortcuts and tricks.
