Year 1: Core modules: business decision analysis; English legal method and contract law; foundations of management; information technology for business; introduction to macroeconomics; introduction to microecomonics; introduction to financial accounting; introduction to management accounting; introduction to marketing management; introduction to organisational behaviour; principles of operations management; quantitative techniques. Year 2: Core modules: business policy; strategic finance; business game; public policy and public management; financial accounting; making managerial decisions using accounting information; operational research techniques; introduction to econometrics; principles of microeconomics; principles of macroeconomics; industrial organisation and strategy; financial management. Year 3: Professional placement year in finance, accountancy or management role or students have the option to undertake an international study placement; this year is compulsory for all UK and EU students. Final Year: Core modules: strategic management; international finance; derivatives; the organisational context of management accounting; management of taxation; competition policy; applied econometrics and forecasting; financial economics.
