This course is designed to teach students film and TV makeup techniques. They will gain an insight into the world of theatre and media makeup and learn the basic skills and techniques required of a makeup artist. They will learn film and television makeup techniques, including how to create period makeup looks and, using advanced makeup products, how to create specialist techniques such as bald caps and casualty makeup.

Course had a lot of hands on work as well as a lot of class discussions. I did feel we covered a lot but we could have cut some areas down or concentrated on areas like HTML more, which we need in IT....more
The teacher is good at teaching qall the practical stuff however may lack experience in actual teaching. However on the whole the course was excellent....more
Course was great, spent a lot of time debating about society and that.. the factors that are important. Also really enjoyed working in groups and presenting to the class. Also the trips were quality!!...more
