Course Description
The degree is taught through a combination of workshops (involving intensive lectures and seminars, many with visiting lecturers) and personal study and exercises. This course includes dissertation plus compulsory modules - history and concepts, project design, management strategies, archives and publication, skills and placement - and recommended modules which include evaluation, project implementation, stratigraphic and spatial analysis and artefact and ecofact analysis. Or students may choose available modules from the MAs in archaeological heritage management, archaeology of buildings, conservation studies, or historic landscapes.

Assessed essays, a practical project and a dissertation.
Entry Requirements
Applicants should hold a good honours degree in archaeology or a related subject or have relevant professional experience.
Venue Description
