About this course

The degree is practical in nature and focuses not only on contemporary floral design but also how to capitalise on the range of business opportunities within this specialist area. As such, you will undertake a number of challenging and varied 'live' projects. External organisations will commission you to produce suitably creative floral designs for events such as University awards ceremonies, exhibitions, charity events, theatre and fashion shows. This will require the group to work in teams to ensure the activities run professionally and successfully.

Additional entry requirements

Participants should possess 1 A level/AVCE plus 3 GCSEs (A-C); an appropriate combination of A and AS levels; an EDEXCEL/BTEC GNVQ Diploma (Adv) or equivalent; an Access certificate; career experience recognized through AP(E)L system. If your first language is not English you should check you have achieved the correct IELTS level in English.

What a waste of time

Please do not even consider taking this course. The Tutors are poor and unwilling to help their students on a academic level and personal level- in spite of telling them at the start of the course that they will do what they can. The PPD le...more
