This exciting course is ‘hands on’ and offers training that is based on the needs of employers and professional bodies. East London boasts a concentrated hub of fashion companies - just a stone's throw from our Shoreditch campus. As part of the course you will be given ‘live briefs’ set by clients who work in the fashion and textiles industry to encourage you to generate ideas with a client or purpose in mind. You will also have an industry work-placement and carry out a research project. As well as the practical textiles skills, you will also study professional practice, project design, implementation and evaluation - with those all important employability skills - to really set you up for a successful future.
