In this course, participants will look at factors that influence the creative process; explore, develop and experiment with ideas and techniques; turn their ideas into reality and develop skills that they need to succeed. They can either take a specialist approach concentrating on one discipline or incorporate a range of subjects from the following areas: art and design (e.g. 2d art, 3d art, fashion and textiles); performing arts (e.g. drama, dance and music technology); media (e.g. film and television, radio, interactive media, animation, publishing, computer games and advertising). On completion, they can progress onto university or enter the world of work.
Participants should have 6 GCSE grades A*-C or equivalent, including English, Maths and a creative or media based subject.
