The course aims to provide a board-based approach to the fashion and clothing sector, with specialist units in fashion design, visualisation, presentation, promotion, pattern construction and manufacturing. Learners will have the opportunity to acquire and develop visual communication skills and techniques using a wide range of 2D and 3D media and materials. There are also opportunities to develop communication and presentation skills within specialist areas of the course for example, developing english for fashion promotion, developing maths for fashion costing and pattern drafting, and also developing IT for fashion reports.
