This programme offers a comprehensive examination of the role of law within the contemporary family law environment offering a view on the issues concerning family law; the course also provides a sound knowledge and understanding of the organisations and institutions associated with family law; involved in the course are practical concepts underpinned by theoretical perspectives and ethical perspectives in which family law operates; for a general LLM award, students may offer the required credits from any combination of modules available within the programme; the 15-credit single module legal research methodology is compulsory for those who do not have postgraduate research training.

The pace of the course is very fine. First semester is basic so its easy but in the second semester it takes you to the deep end....more
