Course Description
The programme provides advanced understanding of the different aspects of analysis, design and construction of cladding of buildings. It leads students to re-appraise basic physical concepts so that they may be imaginatively applied to the engineering of building façades. Graduates are qualified to pursue careers in the design, management, manufacture or construction of facades and as specialists in architectural and engineering practices. There are four taught units and a fifth module for which a dissertation must be submitted. Two units are given during each semester with one day a week of staff student contact associated with each module.

Entry Requirements
First degree in an Engineering discipline or Architecture; experience in the building industry at an appropriate level. English requirements: IELTS 6.5 (with not less than 6.0 in each of the four components); TOEFL 580 (paper-based test) or 237 (computer-based test).
Venue Description
Childcare facilities are available on site. Early booking of sessions is strongly recommended due to high demand of limited places.
