This course aims to provide a practical training, knowledge and understanding of fabrication and welding. It describes the various processes used to join metal items by heating the areas to be joined to a molten state and fusing them together. It covers topics: health and safety, metal fabrication, gas oxy-acetylene welding, gas oxy-acetylene gas cutting, electric arc welding, TIG welding, MIG welding, testing and defects of welded joints.
