In a digital age of mass-produced imagery this course is aimed at people wishing to experiment with and produce individual one-off prints.
Techniques include resist methods, photograms, selective development, paper negatives and using liquid emulsion to print onto fabric and art papers. During each session you will learn and experiment with new processes and towards the end of the course you will be able to focus on a particular technique that you can develop towards a personal project.
At the end of the course students will leave with a selection of images and experience of a wide variety of photographic image making techniques. Basic experience of working in a black and white darkroom is essential.
