The programme explores the use, application and underlying theory of Event and Conference Management; it explores the increasing role events have in meeting the needs of national and local government, cultural and creative industries and in addressing social policy issues; it equips students with essential event management skills to conceptualise, plan and deliver safe and successful events.
The 4 programmes, cultural management, event and conference management, museum and heritage management and music management and promotion all share three core modules which equip students with an understanding of the necessary cultural business knowledge and business development skills and encourage students to consider entrepreneurialism in this context.
