Do you have the ability to think outside the square? Do you enjoy the design elements of an event? If so then this course will help you take that journey. Event Design incorporates all the elements of an event from sound and lighting to catering and entertainment and your job is to take all these pieces and create something visually stunning out of nothing. Upon completion you will be a Certified Event Designer. The type of events they work on can include: weddings, product launches, fashion shows, conferences, exhibitions, gala dinners, corporate functions & festivals. Some designers will also plan, consult and coordinate but more often than not, they will limit their services to design and decor. This course is designed for those already working within the industry, or those who have completed a course in wedding or event planning. The event design course explores the artistic side of creating memorable events. In each unit students will discover unique and innovative ways to design and transform environments for all types of events and venues. The course is a fun blend of conceptualizing, planning and production with lots of hands-on creativity. Students will look at how and where to find creative inspiration, design presentations, sourcing materials, budgeting and event execution. Study at your own pace in an interactive environment.
