The overall purpose of the course is to enable students to develop knowledge and skills in relation to the legal rules regulating business activity in Europe, as well as at a global level; the programme also develops analytical legal skills, communication skills, ability to work independently and undertake research.
Core modules: European business law; insolvency law; research methods; dissertation; plus optional modules include: EU discrimination law; international e-commerce law; EU agricultural law and the WTO; comparative legal traditions and globalisation; competition law; insolvency law; corporate law; advanced corporate law; international banking law (the regulatory framework); international banking law (capital markets and loans); international corporate governance; international law of credit and security; consumer law; the international law of foreign investment; world trade organisation law; trade marks, geographical indications, designs and trade secrets; international economic law.
