The European nursing degree provides the opportunity to gain greater understanding of pan European health problems, particularly related to deployment of health personnel and trends in health and social care; it encourages collaboration and exchange of ideas in terms of clinical and educational research; the work is demanding but students experience immense satisfaction from working as a team to provides seamless care to people in need.
Year 1: Foundations for nursing the individual part 1; foundations for nursing the individual part 2; interprofessional working 1; nursing the individual and family in society. Year 2: Approaches to health and social care research; essential knowledge and skills for mental health nursing; fundamentals of adult nursing practice; interprofessional working 2; meeting the health and illness needs of the child and family. Year 3: European approaches in adult nursing; European approaches in childrens nursing; European approaches in mental health nursing; language, culture and living; socio-cultural care of mental health nursing in Europe; socio-cultural context of adult care in Europe; socio-cultural context of child care in Europe.
