This course is undertaken in the IT Centre through self-study exercise books and computer based practice. There are expert Instructors on hand to provide help and advice at all times during the course. The course is fully flexible allowing you to study at your own pace and convenience at any time within the specified opening times.The IT Centre Opening Times are:Monday - Thursday 08.30 - 21.30Friday 08.30 - 17.00ASSESSMENT:Assessments for the ECDL are carried out in the College Assessment Centre, not in the IT Centre itself. For details of how to book assessments see our separate information sheet, available from the IT Centre Reception desk.
Course Fees
The total cost of this course is £177. Breakdown of cost:Course fee (£44)Log Book (£25)7 Assessments (£15 per test = £105 for all 7)Fee waivers may apply. Fee waivers apply only to the course fee.Please note that if you do not meet the residency requirements you may be charged a non resident’s fee. Please contact the IT Centre for further details.

The intended audience for this series of courses is the general public who would like to use a personal computer competently. There are no formal entry requirements.
