Course Description
This etching course is structured to suit participants of all abilities, from beginners with no previous art training to established artists wishing to explore new creative avenues. All aspects of this exciting and versatile medium will be taught within the course, starting with basic hard and soft ground etching and then moving on to aquatint, sugar lift and photo etching through to the creation of multi-plate prints with the potential to combine many of the techniques they have learn in previous sessions into one print. During the course participants will be encouraged to adopt an innovative and experimental approach as they are introduced to new techniques.
