The course aims to develop core knowledge and understanding of theories and concepts in environment and human health and provides a detailed understanding of ecological public health, the relationship of health to environment as well as the social determinants of health and healthcare systems; the course delivers a detailed understanding of the principles and practice of environmental science and explores methods of current best practice designed to achieve measurable environmental change for positive human health outcomes.
