This course is for people whose first language is not English and who have achieved an Intermediate level of English. Students will be confident speakers of English who wish to further develop their skills for academic or work related purposes. The course is designed to develop all four skills (reading, writing, listening and speaking), as well as enhancing students range of structures and vocabulary. All students will work towards the Trinity College London Level 1 Certificate in Skills for Life which may be taken in December, March or May/June. (Speaking and Listening) In addition, students may choose to prepare for the Cambridge Esol First Certificate in English which can be taken in December, March or June.
All students must be assessed by a member of the EFL staff before enrolling on a course.
