This course is for people whose first language is not English and who only have a basic level of English. It runs from September to December and students are then expected to progress to F9054 which runs from January to June. The course is designed to develop all four skills (reading, writing, listening and speaking), build on the basic structures that students already know and continue developing students vocabulary. All students will work towards the Trinity College of London Entry 2 Certificate in Skills for Life. (Speaking and Listening). Students may take these exams in December (if they are leaving at Christmas) or in February/March.
All students must be assessed by a member of the EFL staff before enrolling on a course.
