This course combines English Literature and Language. You will study a wide variety of texts ranging from poetry to everyday conversations in order to understand how the English language is working in these texts.
You must satisfy the general entry criteria for AS Level courses and achieve at least a grade C in both GCSE English Language and at least one other written subject (e.g. Humanities, Business studies, History, Geography, Religious Education full course, English Literature). You must achieve at least grade B in English or the other written subject.
