At A2 you will study two units: Language and the Media’ where you be required to submit a coursework folder of 3,000 words. An examined unit which focuses on the study of texts in three modes: spoken, written, and multimodal. You will explore written and spoken language use in a variety of different social and cultural contexts, gaining insights into meaning and interpretation e.g. Language, Power and Identity and The Language of Popular Texts.
Students should have a minimum of grade B in GCSE English Language.
