The course aims to improve your skills in writing, reading and oral communication. You will read a range of texts, including fiction and factual material, and have practice in writing in a range of different styles. Attention will be paid to developing your spelling, punctuation, vocabulary and grammar. You will engage in discussion, debate and delivering individual talks.
Students must already have a D or be able to demonstrate a high level of competence in written English.
