This course is for people whose first language is not English and who have achieved an advanced level of English. The course is designed to develop all four skills (reading, writing, listening and speaking) and will lead to the appropriate qualification: - Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE), administered by the Cambridge Esol, for which students may enter in December or June.
All students must be assessed by a member of the EFL staff before enrolling on a course. We would normally expect applicants to hold a grade B pass at CAE level.
