This programme is designed for experienced dental practitioners who wish to further their knowledge in endodontics, the branch of dentistry that deals with diseases of the tooth root, dental pulp and surrounding tissues; there are 3 components to the programme: Research methods and statistics; specialist clinical component; research component (recent projects include studies related to restoration of the root filled tooth, imaging procedures, effects of irrigating solutions on root dentine and intracanal flora).
