This course is particularly suited to lawyers and graduates working, or wishing to work, within an employment context; in addition to the specialist options, students have access to a number of options, offering the opportunity to widen the business context of their employment related studies; applications are welcomed from those with an academic and/or work-related background or interest in employment issues, based in the UK or overseas.
Programme content: in addition to the compulsory employment law and practice core module, students may choose from the following list of modules: 30-Credit modules: individual employment law; people management within organisations; equal opportunities in the workplace; law of health and safety; project of maximum 20,000 words, (compulsory in year 2); 15-Credit modules: civil liberties in the workplace; collective labour law; students can also select optional modules offered on the other LLM programmes.
