Covering 1 of the most dynamic and fast-growing areas of legal specialisation, the aim of this programme is to give students a firm grounding in the key areas of employment law and practice and to explore the boundaries of the subject; it covers the central issues and elements in employment law today, such as EC employment law, family policy and discrimination at work; it offers a chance to engage with the practice of employment law, drafting employment contracts and codes of practice.
Core modules include: foundations of employment law; legal skills and research; supervised dissertation; other optional modules.
