Designed for professionals who wish to develop their knowledge, this focuses on understanding the link between emotional life and success or difficulty in learning and teaching. It also explores the psychological problems that children and young people may encounter in the course of their educational development. It is a continuing professional development opportunity for teachers and others working in educational settings. We cover theory, work discussions and professional development. Written assessments comprise a portfolio and dissertation. Successful completion leads to eligibility for membership of the Tavistock Society of Psychotherapists, Allied Professional Division.

Entry Requirements
Qualified teachers and others working in educational settings or a graduate with at least two years' experience (working within education is preferred). You should remain working for the duration of the programme.
