Their pieces will be dynamic and challenging, with an emphasis on interactivity and the use of sensors and motors to create art that inspires awe and laughter. Participants will be encouraged to research artists around the world already working with kinetic sculpture, and they will work on individual projects as well as lively group experiments. The projects will use everyday electronics that can be modified to create art, without the danger of using mains voltage. By the end of the course participants will have work in progress and finished pieces that can be put towards their 3D portfolio or be the basis of future directions in their practice.
