Course Description
This qualification is comprised of several units/modules, all of which need to be completed to achieve the certificate. The course will involve theoretical work in the form of anatomy and physiology of the body. (This is the study of the bones and muscles of the skeletal system, together with the body organs and functions, as related to depilation.) Candidates will be required to sit a multiple-choice Health and Safety exam. It will also be necessary to produce a Health and Safety assignment. They will be taught correct depilation techniques including hot and warm wax, which will be used over a range of body areas.

Tuition Fee: £150.00; Assessment fee: £30.00

Assessment method
Candidates will produce a portfolio of work, which will be completed throughout the course. This will contain client assessments, assignments, a candidate assessment book and a log of treatments completed as proof of competence

Equipment and Materials
Candidates require a uniform which is compulsory for this course. The uniform comprises of a short sleeved white tunic, plain black full length trousers and black closed in shoes
