This programme is designed for students who possess a broad range of interests in the interdisciplinary area of Education and Psychology.Year 1: Students cover introduction to psychology; research methods and data analysis; introduction to contemporary issues in education; and a free option choice from the School of Education, School of Psychology or module available from other departments within the University. Year 2: Students cover social psychology; language and memory; employability and working in educational settings; politics, policy and economics in education; individual differences: personality & intelligence; developmental psychology; research methods in education; and leading and managing education or understanding learning digital literacies .Year 3: Students cover psychology seminar option; psychology seminar option or lifelong and work-related learning or current issues in teaching and learning in schools; emerging approaches to education research; psychology seminar option; social justice and inclusive education; psychology seminar option or international perspectives on global issues in education or education and teaching for health and wellness; and dissertation (double module with education or two single modules with psychology).
