1st year: Facilitating learning in professional education and practice, focusing on the individual in professional education and the skills required to support individual learning; curriculum studies 1; foundations of educational practice, focusing on the curriculum in an academic and practice context. 2nd year: Curriculum studies 2; advances in educational practice, focusing on innovations and developments in educational practice; leading and managing programmes in professional education, focusing on the role of the educator in leading developments and managing quality and standards; teaching, learning and assessment in professional education and practice, this work-based module runs throughout the programme and includes reflection on practice, completion of peer observation and assessment of teaching and evidence of the completion of the equivalent of 12 weeks teaching practice.
