Supervision for the degrees of Master of Philosophy (MPhil) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) is available in the following subject areas: education, sport, dance and outdoor education, nutrition and health and leisure and tourism; research students are funded through projects mainly undertaken with key partners such as schools, education authorities, food and leisure industry, community groups in sport and dance and other universities; many projects are of national and international significance and are presented at conferences both at home and abroad; research groups are also culturally diverse and reflect the cosmopolitan nature of projects undertaken in the faculty.
